The Mandalika MotoGP will be held for three consecutive days, on March 18-20, 2022. To see the race live at the Mandalika Circuit, of course, we have to come to Mandalika, here’s how to get to Mandalika, which is located on the island of Lombok. Mandalika is located on the island of Lombok, so to get to Mandalika you can use 2 transportation routes, namely air transportation and sea transportation.

How to get to Mandalika from Bali

First Route: Airway

One way to get to Mandalika, Lombok from Bali is by airplane. From I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport to Lombok International Airport it takes about 45 minutes.

Flight tickets from Bali to Lombok are quite varied. Starting from IDR 300 thousand – IDR 500 thousand rupiah (Ticket prices can fluctuate at any time).

From the airport you can use the Damri bus to Mandalika at a cost of around IDR 44 thousand.

Second Route: Sea Route

You can also cross to Lombok via Padang Bai Harbor (Bali) to Lembar Harbor (Lombok) which takes 4-6 hours.

The shuttle bus from Ubung Bus Terminal to Padang Bai costs IDR 40 thousand – IDR 60 thousand.

Pedestrians are charged Rp 29 thousand for children and Rp 44 thousand for adults.

Motorcyclists are charged a fee of Rp. 123 thousand.

Car drivers are charged Rp. 790 thousand.

Then you can go to Mandalika by using public transportation via Mataram Bus Terminal at a cost of IDR 15 thousand – IDR 25 thousand.

If you have arrived in Lombok for transportation to the Mandalika circuit, you can use public transportation.

The Damri Bus Company offers routes to the Mandalika Circuit, and a number of other routes in the Lombok area.

Flight routes to Lombok and the Airlines that serve them

In detail, the route from Jakarta includes Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Jakarta) to Lombok as many as 13 flights per day are served by Garuda Indonesia, Citilink, Batik Air, Lion Air, Ind Air Asia, and Super Air Jet airlines.

Then the journey from the city of Surabaya via Juanda International Airport (Surabaya) to Lombok as many as 9 flights per day served by Citilink, Lion Air and Garuda Indonesia airlines.

Yogyakarta City via Yogyakarta International Airport (Kulon Progo) to Lombok 2 flights per day served by Ind Air Asia and Lion Air airlines.

Then the route from Bali via I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport (Denpasar) to Lombok there are 14 flights per day served by Citilink and Wings Air airlines.

The city of Sumbawa routes through Sultan Muhammad Kaharuddin III Airport (Sumbawa) to Lombok as many as 2 flights per day served by Wings Air.

Furthermore, from the city of Makassar the route through Sultan Hasanuddin Airport (Makassar) to Lombok is 2 flights per day served by Lion Air and Wings Air airlines.

Then from Bima City via Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Airport (Bima) to Lombok 2 flights per day are served by Wings Air airline.

As well as the route from the city of Labuan Bajo via Komodo International Airport (Labuan Bajo) to Lombok, there are 1 flight per day, but at this time it is not certain which airline will serve this flight route.

So there are 8 routes that will connect directly to Lombok from Jakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar, Bima, Sumbawa, Makassar, Yogyakarta, and Labuan Bajo. It has been prepared with good connections and sufficient seat capacity during MotoGP events.

If there are not enough flights on these 8 routes, the Ministry of Transportation will prepare an air shuttle to Lombok to anticipate high flight traffic during the 2022 MotoGP event at the Mandalika Circuit.

This air shuttle will fly from Jakarta, Surabaya and Denpasar.

The air shuttle can use propeller planes or jets with a capacity of 14,400 people for 30-40 landings.

In detail, the air shuttle route from Jakarta to Lombok can be reached in about one hour and 55 minutes. Then the air shuttle route from Surabaya to Lombok has a travel time of 45 minutes, while the air shuttle route from Denpasar to Lombok can be reached in only about 30 minutes.
